RPT is a project I was inspired to start a few weeks ago because I missed RPing, but felt that tumblr wasn’t quite the healthiest space for me. When you sit there obsessing over your follower counts or wondering when your friends are online or not (that’s another thing I forgot to add up there – there’s an online/offline indicator!) and ready to RP, or you see a bunch of people venting about the issues going on in their lives, the space you love to create things in starts to wear you down. You don’t want to leave it because when it’s good, it’s GREAT – but when those times become few and far between, it only makes you worse.
RPT aims to cater to the roleplayer, whether they’re too shy to request a thread or have trouble finding inspiration or motivation to write, or just can’t find partners that they work well with or not! Now obviously, it’s complete but untested – so I’m sure changes and improvements will need to be made. But in the meantime, I invite anyone who’s curious to sign up and check it out!
